Fever just subsided..
L'dric hit a high of 39 degrees this afternoon..26th Dec..
Nt sure what causes this fever.. It mayb due to new teeth coming iut of L'dric's gums again..
YeYe Koh n Por Por Koh were so worried that they made 'Leng leong' for you..
Mummy went office in the late morning to settle some urgent things for Tuesday.
So mummy has asked Aunty Jacqueline to take care of you and monitor your temperature..
Temperature is up and down and Aunty Jacqueline followed mummy's instruction to sponge you n feed you med..
In the evening, Mummy Asked daddy to rush home because your fever is still high and asked himbto take care of you first while mummy wrapped up all the documents for work tomorrow, Tues.27dec2011.
When daddy reached home, you are asleep after PorPor Koh massaged on your stomach to soothing your pain..n discomfort around the stomach area.. But YeYe Koh came back n 'disturbed' your sleep and you woke up again.. Daddy called mummy to inform that you are awake snd really not feeling Comfortable.. Mummy immediately packed up and rushed home for you..
This night was a long and terrible night because you are feeling so uncomfortable snd you kept crying and wanting your daddy.. You want no one else.. Daddy is slready so tired but his love for you made him stay awake and trying to make you comfortable.. Mummy and aunty Jacqueline tried to make you sleep after daddy went back to work..
You did not wan mummy to coax ypu and carry you to sleep. Instead, you wanted Aunty Jacquelune.. You do not want to be put down and wants to be carried till you are really sound asleep..
Mummy has not bern sleeping well because mummy is checking on your temperature.. Aunty Jacqueline slso did not sleep well because she has to carry you till you fall asleep andcyou are waking up every hour to cry..

L'dric loves to wear nice clothes and pose infront of the mirror and smile so cheekily infront of camera
My handsome baby is growing up and becoming Mr Vain.. Loves mummy changing n trying out new clothes on you.. Niot only that, if we are going out, after mumny changed you, you will always go to the mirror and seebhoe good you look.. You even smiled at yoursrlf in the mirror with satisfaction before walking out of the room...
Even now, you are learning how to wear your shoes,, but you do know how to take out your shoes on your own already..
You do know where your shoes are being kept and you will know after we reached home, you know where to keep them too..

L'dric is getting closer to his new aunty Jacqueline
L'dric has been with Aunty Jacqueline all alone since yesterday, Thursday.. Luckily L'dric is adaptable with new comers and accepting the person.. Daddy and Mummy are relieved..and this new aunty is experience in taking care of children and she does learn things fast..
Despite all these, daddy and mummy spent more time with you in the morning before heading to work so we can spend more time with you..
Mummy and daddy has been so busy yesrerday and only arrived home around 8.15am.. But bith daddy and mummy called home to check how you have been doing.
After work, you have been with us, spending more quality time before you head to bed at around 9.35pm , you are already so sleepy and tired.. So mummy made milk for you and you drank and slept after that.. Mummy was expecting you to call out to us to take away you milk bottle... But think you are just too tired to do so and left your bottle on your bed and head to sleep even without your pacifier.. But, mummy went in to check on you and helped you take out your bottle and put your pacifier in your mouth.. Very soon after, you are sound asleep.

L'dric had a fall this morning.. Had a scar on his left forehead
With a "thump" n next your screaming sound n cried so loudly.. Mummy knew u fell n immediately went to your room to see what happened.. You are already in aunty regina's arm when mummy came in.. You, aunty regona n aunty jacqueline are in the room and you can still even fall...to my shock.. You had a cut on your forehead and blood can be seen on the slit..mummy xould believe you can fall and landed in this state.. Mummy immediately carried you away from aunty regina n hug u and trying to soothe you down..mummy's heart was broken n it really pains me to see you getting hurt.. With 2 maids stabding around you and so xlose, you can even fall in this state is really unbelievable.. Mummy is unaccepting this..
i think you are still in pain n you cried non stop.. Mummy carried you to the living room n just then, daddy came out of the bathroom after his shower to check what had happened..
Daddy immediately carried you in his arms n mummy told daddy about the cut on your forehead.. Mumny can feel daddy's pain too after seeing the cut n mummy is really worried that a scar might result spoiling your handsome face..
Aunty Jacqueline came on Saturday 17th December 2011 and learning the ropes from Aunty Regina... Aunty Regina is going back home for home leave for 19 days..

On Wednesday itself, before sending Aunty Regina due to the fall, mummy dare not let you stay home alone with aunty Hacqueline, so despite being so busy at work.. Mummy took care of you in the office.. Only around lynch time, mumny called Aumty Jacqueline to cook lunch for you and asked YeYe Koh to bring Aunty Jacqueline to office to take care of you..

L'dric made mummy so sad today
In the evening.. We sent to Aunty Jenz n Uncle Jay's Xmas bbq chalet today.. It was so nice n well decorated.. Chalet itself is really big..
You suddendly got angry with mummy whrn mummy stopped you from playing with the fridge..
U got so angry that you made a face ( now its the 'IN' thing for you.. Sticking ur tongue out abit n pressed ur lips exposing a small piece of ur tongue).. N u started pinching n scratching mummy.. Adding to that you kept screaming n scolding me.. Venting ur angry on mummy's face..
Mummy is so sad n it really pains my heart when u did this to me..

Mummy carried you in my arm while you fell asleep during naptime
Mummy rushed back from work immediately after getting what is to be done for the moment in office.. When mummy reached home, its around 3pm n you are about to take your afternoon nap..
When mummy reached home, you started playing and being active again.. So mummy accompanied you while you do your things..
You are already looking so tired and restless but you still pushing yourself to stay awake.. Mummy tried to put you in your swingand you cried like mad.. With no choice, mummy carried you out n tried coaxing you to sleep in my arms.. N you did, falling asleep so fast in mummy's arms.. Mummy held you tightly and close to mummy, making you feel secure with mummy while you sleep.. Mummy called out to aunty when she is near your room and asked her assistance with the swing.. After putting you in the swing, while you still sleep so soundly.. Mumny went to run some errands before heading back office..
As usual for these past 2weeks, daddy will reach home before mummy cause mumny had to lear some urgent matters.. When mummy reached home, you looked so tired and restless.. But was glad that you slept for almost 2.5hours..
Around 8pm you vomited due to your coughs anmd the medicine, forcing out the phelgm.. You cried and seemed uncomfortable.. But these few days, we encouraged and praised you for vomitting.. As it will definately make you feel better and comfortable..After the vomit,.you do look fresh and active again.. You played with your rocking horse and you showed us sll you knew how to rock well.. You smiled and feelung happy.. Mummy loves to see you smile.. As it does showed your cheekiness and cuteness!!

@ KKH emergency with L'dric
Fever has been like the stock market since monday till today, Thursday.. You have also been vomitting due to the nasal drop.. But you have stopped vomitting since early morning around 5am.. After that ladt roubd of drop mummy gave you.
We reached the emergency clinic at around 8.30pm n luckily the queue was not long, by 9pm we have seen the doc n had sent L'dric blood for testing..
You cried so loudly when the doc examines you..
Your eyes are swalloon n with red patches, some red patches also shown on your face.. Worse are yor hands, body and back.. Doc is agraid that there might be some infection.. So suggested to go for the blood test..
We waited for 45mins-1hr for the result.. While waiting, you fell asleep so soundly.. Lyckily the result showed nothing serious and just virual infection.. So doc advised that we throw all the medicine from Dr Yim's clinic and take those she prescribed..
We rushed back home cause you are really feeling restless..
Before all these epidsode.. In the morning.. You are all well n so active.. Played so much n was you kept yourself so busy walking around n taking out all the utensils n play..'Leng Liang' was fed to make sure that your temperature is controlled.
But due to your bad phelgm.. In the noon,Mummy went to seek advise from the medical hall n the old man suggested i give u 'minkey's gland' to ease the phelgm.. Never did mummy know that this cant b eaten if you are just recovering from fever( as nagged by YeYe Koh that i should nt have fed you that coz its too heaty n will rise your body temperature)...

L'dric down with high fever, bad flu n cough.. Since Monday 5/12/11
You are so sick since Monday morning at around 6am.. Aunty n u knocked on daddy's n mummy's room.. Mummy heard it but thought u r just playing coz its been like that for all mornings..and you are nt showing any signs of being sick..
Your fever hit around 38.3. n we have been feeding u paracetamol.. But it doesnt seemed to work coz the fever flactuates as n when..
Mummy on the other hand is experiencing severe headache n really not feeling well too adding on to tat, mummy also had flu n coughs..
All these virus we have are from Daddy.. He was sick last week n had passed the germs to both of us..
To cheer u up.. Yeye Koh bought a rocking horse for you.. U liked it so much.. U smiled with delight.. But,, You are afraid to try and kept observing and figuring by yourself what is this toy about and how to play with it.. Mumny carried you n both of us tried together (hmm.. Realli adventurous of mummy to try this stunt).. But you r afraid and cried.. So we took it slow and let you explore this toy urself.
In the evening.. daddy n mummy decided to bring u to Dr Yim's clinic.. But Dr Yim is on leave till 10th Dec n there is a relief doc.. Though mummy does not really have a good feeling on this doc after hearing some gossips from the counter nurses.. Daddy still wants u to be seen by the doc since we are here.. As usual, shile waiting for ur number to be called, daddy played with the game nachine outside with you and you tremendously enjoyed the time there pulling out the coupons that was purched out from the machine when daddy scored..
After seeing the doc.. We went home n you are already feeling restless.. After your medication, you fell asleep.. But you did not sleep well.. You are woken up with your coughs n you cried feeling uncomfortable n mayb from the fright of being woken up by your own coughs..
You then started vomitting today..
Hoe you will be getting better soon..

L'dric able to sit properly n obediently on his car seat
This is the second we have tried securing u to ur car seat during our journey oyt.. Of coz for the 1st time u screamed n cried like mad n wanting us to being u up.. But to mummy's insistance on training u.. Daddy has no choice but to drive n leaving u with mummy at the back seat.. Mummy tried to coax u with food for the 1st time n it succeed..
But u were back to crying n screaming..
But for this 2nd time.. U do show improvement.. As like the 1st trial.. Mummy gave you some food ( guava puree) n throughout the journey .. U made mummy so proud.. U sat down in ur carseat n nt making much noise but just playing with mummy..

No more swollen gums for the time being
At one go.. I think you have 3-4 teeth coming out from your upper and lower gums..
Your gums have been so swollen for almost 2-3months and it does affect your appetite too.. not drink and eating much ,.. also at times, you do cry in the night cause of the sensation you are feeling in your mouth...
POoor boy.. no worries k.. this is part and parcel of growing up...

L'dric @ T3 picking YeYe Koh yesterday (23/11/2011)
YeYe Koh is back from his bussiness trip from China after 1week..
So mummy decided to bring L'dric together to fetch YeYe...
Mummy also asked aunty Regina to bring alobg your mickey cycle since we so not have a pram for you.. N mummy thinks tat you might prefer mickey cycle than a pram..
Its still early and YeYe's flight was delayed.. So we walked around n had some bread n coffe/tea while waiting.. L'dric loves the toasted bread n also want to have a sip of mummy's tea.. Mummy did not want to give you and you throw tantrum at mummy.. After that, mummy decided to buya Sundae @ MacDonalds since the wait is still long and its been some time munny has not given any ice-cream for L'dric.. Naughty L'dric wana snatched mummy's spoon n licked them n Mummy cant have my chocolate sundae...
YeYe came out n so happy to see you.. We head straight home knowing that YeYe is overly exhausted duting this trip..

L'dric's last day of class with xmas party celebration
Today is last day of school for your mandarin lessons at Julia Gabriels.. You will be starting a new class bext Jan 2012 for your englush lessons..
To round up this class and slso coincide with the upcoming Christmad holidays.. The school has suggested each class have their own mini party..
We parents gave to prepare some food and a present for our children to exchange during this last day..
So mummy n daddy decided that we do mee hoon n the 'piano' sandwhich..
Adding to that, they have a dress code for all parents and children.. Since this whole semester's teaching is about snimals, we were to dress up as one..
Since you have your tiger outfit, we will just dress you in it and for daddy and mummt, we have compromised to wear orange to signified ourselves as the tiger family...
The whole event was ok, as usual we still have the class but the teachers have skipped outdoir activities and we had breakfast togerher instead.. Some parents did not bring any food and also do not know why, some parents are 'afraid' eating some food.. Tunkibg that there might be some poision in them.. Wahahaha
Mummy n aunty regina has spent some time preparingvthe vee hoon n the sandwiches.. We are happy and proud of what we have done for L'dric and shown others that L'dric's family is always supporting n trying to give our best for you..

Having fun with flour n water for the 1st time
Today mummy decided to let u try some flour..since mummy was told to let you try on different textures n feels in ur school.. N you have tried sand.. So mummy used the flour to make a smalk dough for u to try..
When you first see the dough.. U felt sliened to it and dare not touch ut.. Coz its really soft.. But mummy trys my best to help you familiarise with this 'New Toy'.. Mumny even gotten some punches for u to play with the dough.. You are slowly getting used to it and played ashile on your own trying with those punches..

Another sleep talking from daddy, 9Nov (Wednesday)
Daddy called out your name again today, Wednesday 9Nov at around 5-6am.. ' L'dric... L'dric...' thfm suddenly he got out of bed in a rush n rushed towards our door... Mummy was awoken by daddy and asked what had happened..
Daddy then realised that he must b 'dreaming' again n csme back to bed with mummy...

Mummy has already msg sally from Gusto to come at a later time but she missed my msg n arribes at our home at 7.00pm, earlier 30 mins as agreed.
Mummy msg to inform her to come at 8pm as we are bringing u to see Dr Yim coz of ur right leg imflammation (resulted from some insect bites).. Not sure if its mosqitoes..
So with no choice, she hurried with all the measurings on you n you are rejecting everything... Especially the 3 saliva swaps tests.. Mummy n daddy needed to hoax you n took you up and down taking the lift while doing the swap tests...

After all the tests, we went to the clinic n it was a fast n brief one.. Nothing much to worry on your imflammation n we took so
E med n head to the nearby police post to update our address..
This was your first time in the police post with us and you are kust ascurious as ever.. Looking every corner n walking around.. The post was flooded with people today and took us 45mins of waiting time but still unzble to change anything.. We needex to go back again in 2weeks time as there is an error made by the ICA..
We wemt home at around 9.15pm n gotten you ready for bed n milk..

1st time saw Mei Mei on the screen during Ultra sound scan

today you have witnessed mei mei in mummy's womb through the ultra sound scan .. you seemed "jealous" or maybe you are not feeling well as you are running a fever.. tats why you have kept clinging to daddy throughout the whole scan...
Mummy was shocked to hear from Aunty Regina today that you have tasted your own "pooPoo" yesterday,,, and you are angry with yourself for doing it.. you screamed and showed aunty to clean your hands...
You pooed in your feeding chair and made a mess thats why...
Knowing that you are a very curious boy and I hope that this incident will not repeat again...hmmm...

An Eventful Sunday and Monday (2nd/3rd Oct 2011)
We went to West coast in the morning for some Harsh Browns.. after L'dric's class...
Then in the evening after visiting his Grandpa Ang, we went to East Coast Park for some sand n sea
We had fun fun...
But on Monday Nite, you knocked yourself on the kitchen door and your hands gave way.. you fell head down... you bit your upper lips and blood flowed out....

L'dric is still learning to walk but still SOOoo lazy
Though nowadays... you are able to walk 5-10 steps without any support from anything / anyone.. but you are soosoo lazy to continue walking...
You just simply slam down on the floor and started to CRAWL!!!
PorPOr Koh said that by this week you will be able to walk even more or better.. able to walk on your own liaoz...

L'dric 1st lesson @ Julia Gabriels
Mummy is unable to attend L'dric's 1st class for this new school today as mummy is still warded and only able to discharge after your class.. Mummy cant wait to see you cause, its been around 3 days now that mumy has not kissed and hugged you..
Afyer your class, mummy carried you immediately n kissed n smelk you non-stopped in the car and mummy can also feel that you are happy to see mummy too..
In the car, mummy fed you some yoghurt which mummy alreafy intended to savd it for daddy n you..

L'dric knows how to pray... You have learnt that by observing daddy n mummy praying in the morning before we head to work..
Other than that.. You also knows how to come down from the sofa...initially mummy is so afraid that you might not know the correct position to come down.. But you surprises mummy that you know what position to allow you to come down from the sofa safely..

L'dric 2nd week @ the Library
Today is L'dric 2nd time at the library.. Mummy has made it a point that either a Wednesday or Thursday will bring you to the library,...
Though you are not aware still that this is a place for reading, finding information and enhancing knowledge and awareness... you do love this place...
Your favourite spot is the big tree where big plastic standing mushrooms are....
You look to crawl around despite mummy took some books for you to "SEE" and touch..
There is this one particular security uncle whom he will be so friendly to everyone there...he recognises you too ...
Other than your routine crawling activities,... you love to look at girls and at thrilled when the Big "JieJie" looked back at you and talk to you...you love all the attention there...

L'dric able to stand with his toy, stand free handed and clapped...
Today.. L'dric showed off to all of us that he is now able to stand up on his own .. Using his push cart toy and clapped on his own to praise himself.. Feeling so proud that now , you are able to stand on your own feet..
You felt so happy and smiled so radiently when we praises you and this really encourages you to pratice even more and stand and stablise your legs more firmly on the ground..

L'dric knows to how to say "DADDY"
L'dric said "Daddy" ... caught off guard by him.. not sure if he is really saying that word "Daddy" as it seemed so unclear...
Daddy also heard L'dric calling yesterday!!! Was a Happy Daddy...not for the mummy...wahahaha.. coz L'dric still has not called me Mummy yet... Though.. "MUM MUM" has been said a few weeks ago....
BUT MUMmY wana you call "MUMMY"....
Aunty Regina told mummy yesterday that you are trying to learn how to speack as you mimiced Aunty by saying "paPa..and Mum MUm",...wahahhaa

L'dric went for his Ultra Sound on his Kidneys this morning 3/8/2011
Today was ur Ultra Sound (Sonography) @ KKH after your monday's following up appointment for your UTI case...
But before your scan, as you are running high fever of about 38.8 early in the morning at about 1.30am... Daddy and mummy decided to have a check with the Children's specialist...
Mummy insisted the doctor to have a urine test to make sure that no bacteria or virus from your urine is causing the fever.. While waiting for the result (which will take about an hour), we will head straigh to do your Ultra sound.
You totally dislike the idea of being gelled on your back and with the scan on your kidneys... you cried like MAD!!! NON STOP i would say.. nothing can make you stop crying..you must be feeling scare...
POOR L'dric KorKor.. mummy and daddy sayang sayang k...
It took about 20-30 mins to complete the scan as L'dric KorKor kept moving around to avoid being scanned and also cried so hard...
Mummy asked the sonographer is the scanned kidneys looks ok.. She said YES and they looked normal.. it brough some relief to mummy and I am Very HApPY and glad...
We went back to the clinic to get your resuls and another good news is you are not having fever due to the urine. It might be some virual attack.. so we just feed you paracetomal and monitor your fever these 3 days...
You are so tired after that big and long crying, you fell deeply asleep in mummy's arm... before we head back home, we went to Uncle Calvin's place coz Daddy needed to trim his hair...

not very pleased with L'dric UTI results..
Result is out for L'dric's urine threat infection and mummy is really worried and upset that this may not be a small isdue for you.. Doc has explained the tests needed for you to go through before confirm in details..
The 1st one is to do a ultra sound scan on your kidneys to make sure that they are of the correct size n shape..
The 2nd test is to inject some med into your body then go for the xray to see the flow of your utine from the kidneys to the bladder n pissing that out..( this test will need to wait for at least 6 months for the scaring to appear, in case there is).
Tears were in mummy's eyes when mummy hear all these from the doc and daddy assured Mummy that you will be fine..
So praying gard that you will have good results for the above stated tests..

I think since birth.. Your YeYe Koh is always qatching this Taiwanese serial since i was pregnant with you and have been listening this song ' 爱' since then.. Now when this song is screened on the TV.. You will sit / stand quietly and listen to the whole song attentively.. No other distractions is able to get your focus off the tv scrren.. What's most amazing is.. You do know that the song is coming up when its time the news is about to end.. You will then point at the tv snd attract our attention by saying ' AAAa' then we realised that you do know that your song '爱' is coming up..
Its such a cute experience we have with you baobei..

We went to Tangs , cant find anything for L'dric.. so headed to TAKA for our dinner and shopping for L'dric....
We walked past Lucky Plaza to head towards Paragon for dinner but it was so packed with patrons ... so with no choice.. we just head towards TAKASHIMAYA to try our luck there...
We bought 2 toys for L'dric and L'dric seemed to love it lots...
